Mission

Reece Legal Search’s mission is simple:

To find the best position for candidates and the best lawyers for clients. For candidates, we identify the most career-enhancing employment opportunities available. For clients, we recruit the most talented and accomplished associates, partners, and practice groups we can find both nationally and internationally.

Our prestigious law firm client base reflects most mid-sized to large law firms and is located in California’s major metropolitan cities, including greater Southern California to Northern California’s Bay Area and Silicon Valley.  Further, RLS has been successful in identifying both national and global lateral attorney talent in such regions as New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, Boston, Charlotte, as well as western Europe, Asia, and South America, upon request from several clients.  Our candidates are provided with quality intelligence collected from two decades of experience and research about potential legal employers.

We take a custom approach to each search. RLS pre-qualifies each candidate we present for a client’s consideration — and not just on such tangibles as work experience and academic background. We also make sure the candidate is compatible with the organization’s style and culture.

RLS recruiters manage every phase of the search process, from initial research and screening of candidates to facilitating and negotiating the final deal. Our individualized search strategy significantly increases the likelihood of a well-matched, long-term placement that improves both the attorney’s career and the client’s bottom line.

RLS understands that the management of lateral placements requires complete confidentiality. As such, we adhere to the National Association of Legal Search Consultants (NALSC) and fully subscribe to the association’s Code of Ethics.
